WHAT WE BELIEVE & FAQS
WHAT WE BELIEVE
These are the values and truths that define who we are and guide everything we do
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God. We understand the whole Bible is inspired in the sense that Holy men of God were moved by the Holy Spirit to write the very Word of Scripture. (2 Tim. 3:16)
In the complete inerrancy of the original manuscripts of the whole Bible and that they serve as the only rule of faith and practice. (2 Peter 1:21)
In the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of Men, conceived of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man. (Luke 1:26-35, John 1:18, Isaiah 7:14, 9:6)
Water Baptism is necessary by immersion, in the name of the Eternal Godhead in order to fulfill the command of Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:36-39; 19:1-6)
In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, as an experience subsequent to salvation; with the scriptural evidence, namely, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-46; Gal. 3:14-15)
As believers, we are enabled to operate the gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor. 12—14) as was manifested in the early church.
In the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world, and perfecting holiness in the fear of God, as an expression of Christian faith. (Eph. 5:18; 2 Cor. 6:14; 7:1)
That marriage is exclusively the union of genetic male and one genetic female (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Therefore we believe that marriage is the only proper setting for sexual intimacy. The Bible requires purity before and faithfulness within and following marriage. Likewise, it condemns all unnatural sexual behavior such as incestuous abuse, child molestation, homosexual activity and prostitution (1 Corinthians 6:9; Romans 12:6-27). Through various cultures and customs have evolving definitions of marriage, it is God alone who has ultimate authority to prescribe and describe the marital relationship (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:1-9; Mark 10:1-12).
In the healing of the body by Divine power or Divine healing, in its varied aspects, as practiced in the early church. (Acts 4:30; Romans 8:11, 1 Cor. 12:9; James 5:14)
In the table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord’s Supper, for believers. (1 Cor. 11:28-32)
In the reality and personality of Satan and the eternal judgment of Satan and his angels. (Matt. 25:41; Rev. 20:10-15)
In the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as ONE existing in THREE persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible. (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 14:14)
In the creation, test, and fall of man, as recorded in the book of Genesis, his total depravity and inability to attain divine righteousness. (Romans 5:12, 18)
Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples. (1 Cor. 15:1-4; Romans 4:25)
In the bodily Ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation, and personal, literal, and bodily return the second time for the church. (John 14:2-3; 1 Thess. 4:13-18)
In the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith, in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary, by which we obtain remission of sins. (Eph. 2:8-9; Heb. 9:12; Rom. 5:11)

Culture of Heaven

2. Nothing is Impossible
With God, nothing is impossible, so we live with great faith in action.
3. The Cross Accomplished Everything
Everything we'll ever need was dealt with at the cross, so we must come to a place of trusting Him in everything.
4. Everyone is Significant
God has made each of us significant and valuable, so we must serve well.

Prayer Evangelism
As illustrated in Luke 10:5-9, for godliness to increase in a city, we must change the city's spiritual climate.

1. Bless (Speak peace to them)
We need to declare peace because we may have been at war with the lost, so bless, don't blast or curse.
2. Fellowship (Eat with them)
Two-way fellowship provides an opportunity to show unconditional acceptance by accepting people how they are instead of how we want them to be.
3. Minister (Take care of their needs)
Letting the lost know you are praying for their felt needs touches them at the heart level and opens the door for God's heart to be shown and salvation.
4. Proclaim ("The Kingdom of God has come!")
By gradually improving the spiritual climate, people will feel safe in approaching. We can then explain that it is the Kingdom of God that has come near to them.
Reign in Life
There are four things that trouble mankind and hinder Christian growth. Although letting go of the past may be difficult,"...I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus." (Philippians 3:13-14 TPT)
WE REIGN OVER:

We want people to feel free to dress comfortably, which could mean different things to different people. Some prefer to dress up a bit, while others prefer to dress more casually. We don't judge people based on how they dress. We're just glad to have you worship with us!
FIRST TIME?
As soon as you enter the parking lot, there is designated VISITOR parking conveniently located and close to the church’s entrance.
When you enter our building, a member of our friendly Welcome Team will be ready to greet you and answer any questions you may have.
GIVING
Visitors should never feel obligated to give. You are our guest and your attendance is your gift to us.
As a church, we deeply believe that giving is part of a Biblical worship experience. When we tithe (giving the first tenth of income), it demonstrates our belief that God comes first. By doing so, we are declaring we are in a covenant relationship with Him. Tithing recognizes His blessing, and expresses faith that God promises to open the windows of heaven for His blessings to be poured out in our lives.
KIDS AND YOUTH
Our Nursery (infants-18 months) and Kinder Church (18 months-4 yrs.) are both located on the Main Level in the back of the Sanctuary. This safe, loving and comfortable atmosphere helps show children at the earliest ages that church is a good place to be.

In Kid's Church, ages 5-8, the children are taught to sing, pray, memorize Scripture and learn important Bible truths. This class is held during the entire worship service on the lower level. Children 9-11-years old are dismissed for Jr. Church following Praise and Worship.
